By accessing or using AcademiQ, operated by Chimp Technologies ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

AcademiQ is a multi-school academic operations platform that provides tools for academic management, billing, reporting, and parent communication. The platform offers role-based access for school administrators, staff, finance teams, and parents.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Access data belonging to schools or users you are not authorized to access.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content.
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties.

5. School Data

Schools retain ownership of all data they enter into AcademiQ, including student records, academic data, and financial records. We process this data solely to provide the platform services as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Payment Terms

• Platform subscription fees are billed according to the plan selected by the school or organization.
• School fee payments processed through the platform are subject to applicable transaction terms.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will provide reasonable notice of planned downtime when possible.

8. Intellectual Property

The AcademiQ platform, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is the property of Chimp Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chimp Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of AcademiQ. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the platform in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to AcademiQ if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Schools may request export of their data within 30 days of termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of material changes.
